Florence: the city and some of our friends.
On this page we’d like to give you some information to make your stay easier. We’ll give you the addresses of some of our friends offering services which will help you to get to know Florence better and enjoy it to the full.
We’ll start from the really touristy part: the official sites offering information about the city are those of the City Council and Tourism Office.
Friends who can offer you useful and reliable information about the city and Tuscany in general are: TerradiToscana, Visit Florence and DiscoverTuscany.
A guide for your vacation is Paesi on line.
For information on the night life and cultural events or entertainment buy the magazine Firenze Spettacolo. To book tickets on-line for the Accademia, Uffizi and bigger museums, go straight to the Florence Museum site.
A good place to hire bikes of all types is Florence by bike and a certified biking guide Bruno Baldini offers custom bike tours throughout Tuscany.
