  Neapolitan cookery course - Naples

Idea

Our cookery course are given in a typical Neapolitan family house. The "cooks" Pino Aprea and Teresa Costa welcome the participants warmly and in friendly manner, and show them the secrets and techniques of the Neapolitan gastronomy. In their kitchen, among steaming pots, flavours and colours, you can prepare the most characteristic dishes of our cookery are created, from "spaghetti" with seafood to "ragù", from the homemade pizzas to the Caprese cake. After preparing and cooking the different dishes, everybody sits down at table to have dinner. And together with pasta and wine, among Neapolitan stories and tales, participants live an unforgettable experience.


Meat menu 1
- Penne con ragù (Pasta with Neapolitan tomato sauce)
- Carne al ragù (Meat with tomato sauce)

- Fried Peppers
- Dessert: Migliaccio (traditional “ricotta” cake)
- Wine: Red Solopaca

Fish menu
- Spaghetti with seafood

- Seppie in umido con patate (cuttle-fish with potatoes)

- Dessert: “Chiacchiere” (traditional Carnival cookies)
- Wine: Falanghina

Vegetarian menu
- Pasta with Potatoes

- Scarole alla napoletana (Neapolitan prickly lettuce) or “friarielli”

- Dessert: “Caprese” (typical Neapolitan cake with almonds and dark chocolate).
- Wine: Aglianico

Funny menu
- Pizza rustica (Homemade pizza)
- Frittata di maccheroni (Pasta omelette)
- “Melanzane a funghetto” (fried aubergines with basil and tomato)

- Dessert: “Zeppole” di San Giuseppe”
- Wine: Gragnano


 

 

Duration:  2 lessons (tuesday & thursday)

Schedule: 2 lessons course: total 4 lessons which  start  at  5.00 p.m.
After preparing the different dishes, there is the dinner at 7.30 / 8.00 p.m.

Course fee for 1 lesson:

1 participant € 80

2 or more participants €50
