IdeaLive in a private Italian house and cook typical Tuscan dishes with “la mamma”. In these sessions you not only learn the recipes and tricks of Tuscan home-cooking, but also communicate in Italian, improving your spoken Italian in a family environment. The seminar fees include your stay at la mamma’s home in a single bedroom, with or without breakfast. The four cookery seminars take place from Monday to Thursday in the late afternoons, culminating in the communal evening meal. Duration 1 week Program 4 cookery sessions, Monday to Thursday, from 5 pm for 3-4 hoursGroup 1 - 4 students per family Activities a typical meal: bruschette or crostini (croutons), home-made pasta with porcini mushrooms, involtini (stuffed meat rolls) with artichokes trifolati (thinly sliced and cooked in olive oil and garlic), baked cream with a mixed berry sauce. Levels 1 Dates May 3 to 28 June 14 to July 9 July 12 to August 6 August 23 to September 17 October 4 to 29 Students may enrol for these seminars in the above periods, combining them with the morning language course, or choose dates themselves during other periods of the year.
