Idea

Spend a week immersed in Tuscan culinary culture and learn about the most important aspects of growing and producing wine. The sessions take the form of guided tours, excursions, cookery classes and tastings over 5 afternoons and evenings.

Duration 1 week

Program 4 afternoon sessions of 2-5 hours each plus dinner

  • Monday  Florence, the city of wine and the art of cooking (tour of the centre of Florence) – welcome drink.
  • Tuesday Tuscan red wines (guided wine-tasting).
  • Wednesday Tuscan cookery course with dinners (starters, first course, second course, dessert)
  • Thursday  visit to a farm near Florence , wine-tasting with light meal.
  • Friday valedictory evening meal at a Florentine trattoria with full menu and wine.

This seminar can be taken in addition to the morning language course or privately (small groups or individuals) at any other time of the year on request.
